The Nissan vehicle chassis protection project was a critical step aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of our gendarmerie organization, which is responsible for ensuring the security of our country. The primary objective of the project was to provide the highest level of corrosion protection to the interiors of Nissan vehicles that operate continuously in harsh terrain conditions and variable climate conditions. This aimed to extend the life of the vehicles, reduce maintenance costs, and ensure operational continuity. Corrosion, especially due to salt and chemicals used on highways, can cause serious damage to vehicle chassis, which increases safety risks and leads to costly repair processes. It is at this point that polyurea, with its superior properties and durability, comes into play. The hero of our project is polyurea, which encases the chassis in steel armor! Why polyurea? Because this material is much more than an ordinary coating. With its excellent waterproofing, extraordinary impact resistance, and superior resistance to chemicals, polyurea forms an ideal protective layer for vehicle chassis. In addition, its fast curing property minimizes the application time, allowing the vehicles to return to service as soon as possible. The polyurea specially selected for the project eliminates the risk of cracking by adapting to the flexing and vibrations of the vehicle chassis thanks to its high elasticity. Our application process began with the meticulous preparation of the interior of each vehicle's chassis. The first step was to roughen the existing paint with sandpaper. This would ensure that the polyurea coating adhered better to the surface. After the sanding process was completed, the remaining parts of the vehicle were masked with protective paper, ensuring that only the interior of the chassis was coated. Then, we sprayed pure polyurea into the chassis under high pressure with our special equipment. Our experienced experts worked diligently with a spray gun to achieve a homogeneous and thick coating. After the coating of each vehicle was completed, a short drying process was waited for to allow the polyurea to fully harden. By coating an average of 60 vehicles per day, we completed our project on schedule. As a result, 2200 Nissan vehicles were protected against corrosion at the highest level for our gendarmerie organization. Thanks to this project, the service life of the vehicles has been significantly extended, and significant savings have been achieved in maintenance and repair costs. At the same time, the operational continuity of the vehicles has been increased, contributing to the gendarmerie organization's ability to perform its duties more effectively. This is not just a coating project, but also a strategic investment in the security of our country.
