Electrolux

The Electrolux project was implemented to provide waterproofing in an area of 500 square meters. Our goal was to protect the structure from the negative effects of water by creating a long-lasting, durable, and aesthetically pleasing flooring. The importance of the project stemmed from the critical role of waterproofing, especially in industrial areas. Water leaks can lead to structural damage, equipment failures, and even safety risks. Therefore, the Electrolux project aimed not only to be a flooring solution but also to serve as a protective shield. Before starting the work, the floor was examined in detail. The condition of the existing concrete surface was critical to the success of the system to be applied. Bumps, cracks, and other defects on the surface could reduce the effectiveness of the waterproofing. Therefore, as a first step, the floor was grinded with a concrete diamond-tipped hand grinder. This process allowed us to clean the old coatings, dirt, and loose particles on the surface, creating a smooth surface with high adhesion. After the grinding process, the epoxy primer application was started. The epoxy primer filled the pores of the concrete surface, creating an excellent base for the pure polyurea coating. The reason for choosing the epoxy primer was its perfect bonding with concrete and its ability to create a waterproof barrier. After the primer dried, the application of 2 mm thick pure polyurea began. Pure polyurea stands out as an ideal material for waterproofing due to its high elasticity, fast curing property, and chemical resistance. Polyurea adhered tightly to the applied surface, creating a seamless membrane that prevented even the smallest leakage of water. Finally, UV-resistant aliphatic paint was applied. Aliphatic paint protected the polyurea coating from the harmful effects of the sun, preventing its color from fading and its properties from being lost. At the same time, it added an aesthetic appearance to the floor, crowning the visual success of the project. The Electrolux project achieved a success that exceeded expectations in terms of waterproofing, thanks to the right material selection, meticulous application, and expert teamwork. Our customers were extremely satisfied with the results of the project and obtained long-lasting and reliable protection for their structures.
