Crocist

The Crocist project was initiated to permanently solve a water leakage problem in an area of 400 square meters. This annoying problem experienced by our client was not only damaging the building's structure but also negatively affecting the interior comfort. We rolled up our sleeves to provide a fundamental solution to this problem. In the first phase of the project, we conducted a detailed examination of the floor. We identified broken and damaged areas in the existing ceramic surfaces. Then, we used special filling materials to repair these damaged surfaces. Making the surface more solid and smooth was critical for the success of subsequent applications. After the surface preparation, we proceeded to the Epoxy Primer application. Epoxy Primer not only strengthens the surface but also acts as a binder that allows subsequent layers to adhere better to the floor. The reason for choosing this primer was its excellent adhesion property and its ability to waterproof the surface. After the primer dried, we applied the heart of the project, the 2mm thick Pure Polyurea. Pure Polyurea is a flexible and durable material with superior waterproofing properties. The biggest factor in choosing this material was its ability to adapt to movements in the floor thanks to its high elasticity and minimizing the risk of cracking. Thanks to Polyurea's fast curing property, the application process was also shortened considerably. Finally, we applied Aliphatic Paint to protect the surface against external factors and to give it an aesthetic appearance. Aliphatic paint is highly resistant to UV rays and retains its color for a long time. In this way, the surface remains like the first day for many years. Before applying the paint, we roughened the surface with a diamond-tipped light grinding machine to remove the gloss on the concrete and ceramic. This process allowed the paint to adhere better to the surface. The Crocist project has provided a permanent solution to our client's problem with the quality of the materials used in the waterproofing and the meticulousness in the application process. The success of the project was made possible by the correct selection of materials, the experience of our expert team, and the care shown at every stage.
