Anthill Residence

Imagine you are in a luxurious apartment, and as you relax in the jacuzzi to unwind from the day, you notice the water is slowly decreasing. The 'Anthill Residence' project was born to solve this very problem. Our goal was to permanently eliminate the water leakage issue in jacuzzis located in a 60 square meter area and ensure that residents can enjoy their moments uninterrupted. The importance of the project was not only to prevent water leakage but also to extend the life of the jacuzzis, thereby reducing long-term costs. Our search for a solution led us to high-performance materials. First, we used epoxy primer to prepare the surface and ensure better adhesion of subsequent layers. Epoxy primer provided an ideal starting point due to its excellent adhesion and chemical resistance. Then, we applied 2 mm thick pure polyurea, which is the most critical layer of waterproofing. Pure polyurea is known for its exceptional flexibility, tear resistance, and impermeability. This material provided excellent protection against the movements and potential deformations of the jacuzzi. The rapid curing property of polyurea allowed the project to be completed in a short time. Finally, we applied aliphatic paint to increase UV resistance and achieve an aesthetic appearance. Aliphatic paint prevented color fading, ensuring that the jacuzzis looked as good as new for many years. We started the application process meticulously. The first step was to sand the ceramic surface with a hand-held sanding machine to remove the gloss. This process allowed the epoxy primer to adhere better to the surface. After sanding, we cleaned the surface and applied the epoxy primer. After waiting for the primer to dry, we sprayed pure polyurea with special equipment. Thanks to the rapid curing of polyurea, we were able to proceed with the application of aliphatic paint on the same day. With the paint dried, the jacuzzis were ready for use. The 'Anthill Residence' project is not just a waterproofing project, but also a promise of comfort and longevity. Thanks to the quality of the materials used and the meticulousness in the application process, we have provided a permanent solution to the water leakage problem in jacuzzis. The project achieved success beyond expectations and maximized the satisfaction of the residents.
