Terrace Waterproofing
Polyurea terrace waterproofing is a state-of-the-art solution for water insulation. Applied to the surface using a spray application method, polyurea forms a seamless, fast-curing, and high-performance coating. It offers superior mechanical and chemical resistance compared to traditional insulation methods. It is ideal for high-traffic terraces, surfaces exposed to UV rays, and areas requiring resistance to aggressive chemicals. Armopol polyurea systems are formulated in accordance with EN 1504-2 standards and minimize problems caused by ground movements thanks to their crack-bridging properties. Its high elasticity allows it to maintain its performance even at low temperatures. The application thickness is generally 2 mm and above and may vary depending on the condition and needs of the surface. Thanks to its solvent-free formulations, it is an environmentally friendly option. Polyurea is an excellent choice for those looking for a long-lasting, reliable, and effective solution for terrace waterproofing.

Benefits
Long-lasting Protection
Polyurea coating protects your terrace from water leaks and environmental factors for many years, reducing maintenance costs.
Fast and Effective Solution
Thanks to its fast curing feature, your terrace is ready for use in a short time, without disrupting your workflow.
Flexible and Durable Surface
Thanks to its high elasticity, it adapts to ground movements, eliminating the risk of cracking.
Valuable Investment Protection
It permanently solves water insulation problems, increasing the value of your property and allowing you to look to the future with confidence.
Seamless Polyurea Coating
Thanks to the seamless polyurea coating, complete waterproofing has been achieved on the terrace surface. It offers an aesthetic and functional solution.
Application Process
Surface Preparation
The terrace surface is cleaned by mechanical methods. Existing coatings, loose particles and dirt are removed with a diamond-tipped concrete grinding machine. Cracks and irregularities on the surface are repaired with suitable repair mortars. Dust and other residues are cleaned by vacuuming.
Primer Application
Solvent-free epoxy primer or polyurethane primer compatible with polyurea is applied to the prepared surface. The primer reduces the absorbency of the surface and allows the polyurea coating to adhere better to the surface. Primer application can be done in one or two coats depending on the condition of the floor.
Polyurea Application
Two-component polyurea is applied to the surface with high-pressure spray equipment. The application is carried out to a thickness of min 2mm. During the application, ambient temperature and humidity are checked.
Final Inspection and Tests
The thickness and surface smoothness of the polyurea coating are checked. The impermeability of the coating is confirmed by performing a water tightness test (water pooling test). The application is completed by coating the surface with a UV-resistant top coat.
Application Process Summary
Professional polyurea terrace waterproofing is achieved through meticulous surface preparation, correct primer selection, and high-pressure spray application. The process is completed with quality control and waterproofing tests.
