Application Process

Surface Preparation

The pool surface is roughened with a diamond-tipped concrete grinding machine. Dust, dirt, and loose particles on the surface are cleaned with vacuum cleaners. If necessary, cracks and gaps on the surface are filled with concrete repair mortars. Ensure that the surface is dry and clean.

Primer Application

Solvent-free epoxy primer or polyurethane primer is applied to the surface. The primer ensures better adhesion of the insulation material to the surface. Primer consumption is determined according to the absorbency of the surface.

Insulation Layer Application

Polyurea-based waterproofing material is applied to the surface with high-pressure spray equipment. The application thickness is determined according to the project requirements, usually a minimum of 2mm polyurea application is sufficient. Ensure that the material is evenly distributed.

Top Coat Application (Optional)

A UV-resistant topcoat can be applied to increase UV resistance and provide an aesthetic appearance. This coating can be polyurethane or acrylic-based. Application is done with roller, brush or spray equipment. Sufficient time is waited for the topcoat application to dry.
