Industrial Flooring
Industrial floor coatings are specialized coating systems applied to protect and improve floor surfaces in areas requiring high resistance to heavy loads, chemical impacts, and abrasion. Polyurea-based floor coatings are frequently preferred today due to their ability to meet these requirements at the highest level. Polyurea coatings ensure minimal disruption to production processes due to their rapid curing properties. Thanks to their high elasticity, they exhibit crack bridging properties, thus minimizing damage caused by ground movements. In addition, they can be safely used in various industrial environments due to their wide range of chemical resistance. Applying a UV-resistant topcoat after application extends the life of the coating and prevents color fading. Polyurea floor coatings have a wide range of applications, from food processing facilities to automotive factories, warehouses to logistics centers. Applications carried out with a high-pressure polyurea machine at an application temperature of 60-85 degrees create a homogeneous and durable surface. It offers a long-lasting, safe and aesthetic flooring solution.

Factory Floor Coating Solution
Polyurea factory floor coating application with a smooth surface resistant to heavy use has been completed.
Application Process
Surface Preparation
The floor surface must be carefully prepared before application. At this stage, dust, oil, dirt and loose particles on the surface are cleaned. The surface is roughened using diamond-tipped concrete grinding machines to ensure better adhesion of the coating to the ground. If necessary, cracks and gaps on the surface are filled with appropriate repair mortars. This stage is critical for the long life of the coating.
Primer Application
An appropriate primer is applied to the prepared surface to ensure better adhesion of the polyurea coating to the ground. Solvent-free epoxy primer or polyurethane primer is generally preferred. The primer reduces the absorbency of the surface and helps the polyurea coating to spread homogeneously.
Polyurea Application
After the primer application, polyurea coating is applied with a high-pressure polyurea machine. The application temperature must be between 60-85 degrees. Spraying is carefully carried out to obtain a homogeneous coating, with a minimum thickness of 2mm. Since polyurea is a very fast curing material, it is important to use experienced personnel and appropriate equipment during application.
Topcoat Application
After the polyurea coating application is completed, a UV-resistant topcoat coating is applied. This coating increases the resistance of polyurea to UV rays and prevents color fading. Topcoat also increases the scratch resistance of the coating.
Application Process Summary
The process, which consists of four stages, namely surface preparation, primer application, polyurea coating and topcoat application, ensures that industrial floors are coated in a high-performance manner.
